1. General Information

These Terms of Use govern bookings made via the Scorlinch Farm website for both the Shepherds Huts and the Milking Parlour. By making a booking, you agree to comply with these terms.

2. Shepherds Huts Terms of Use

2.1 Booking & Payment

  • A full payment or deposit (as specified at booking) is required to confirm your stay.
  • Bookings are non-transferable without prior consent.

2.2 Arrival & Departure

  • Check-in: from 3:00 PM
  • Check-out: by 10:00 AM
  • Late departures may incur a fee.

2.3 Use of the Milking Parlour

  • Guests staying in the Shepherds Huts may book exclusive use of the Milking Parlour during available time slots.
  • Access is not guaranteed unless reserved in advance.

2.4 Occupancy & Conduct

  • Maximum occupancy as specified in each hut must not be exceeded.
  • No smoking or open flames are permitted inside the huts.
  • Dogs may be allowed by prior arrangement only.

2.5 Damage & Liability

  • Guests are responsible for any damage to property or equipment during their stay.
  • Scorlinch Farm accepts no liability for loss, damage, or injury incurred during your visit, except where caused by proven negligence.

2.6 Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations made 14+ days before arrival: full refund.
  • Cancellations within 14 days: 50% refund or full credit at our discretion.
  • No-shows: no refund.

3. Milking Parlour Terms of Use

3.1 Membership and Booking

  • A membership with login details is required to use the Milking Parlour. Memberships are created as follows:
    • Farm Guests.
      • If you book accommodation through our website a membership is created automatically.
      • Use “forgot password” during login with the email address used during booking and you will receive a link to set a new password.
      • You can then login and book using the “book now” buttons or via the account dashboard.
      • If you book through Canopy and Stars we will create an account for you and notify you when it is ready.
    • Local Members.
      • The easiest way to become a local member is to purchase our trial booking at the reduced rate advertised at the time. An account will be created during the booking process, which you can use to log-in and make subsequent bookings.
      • Alternatively, you can request membership using the form on our contact page. We will create an account and let you know once it’s ready for use.
  • Booking.
    • With the exception of our trial booking, you need to be logged in to make bookings and purchase our special bundle offers.
    • Bookings are subject to availability and time slots.
    • During the peak season availability for local members will limited to ensure our famr guests receive priority.
    • No more than two bookings can be made per day. This is managed manually so please don’t abuse this fair-use policy.
    • We reserve the right to cancel a booking where more than two bookings have been made on a single day or where farm guests have to be given priority. We will notify you if a booking has had to be cancelled.
    • You can reschedule and cancel bookings via your account dashboard.
    • If you purchase a bundle, bookings can be made during the booking process or later, via your account dashboard.

3.2 Facilities

  • The Milking Parlour includes:
    • A hydrotherapy pool
    • Sauna
    • Hot tub
    • Small kitchenette

3.3 Health & Safety

  • Access is strictly limited to a maximum of 6 people per appointment.
  • Use of the facilities is at your own risk.
  • People with medical conditions or who are pregnant should consult a doctor before use.
  • All users must shower before using water-based facilities.
  • Children must be supervised at all times.
  • Alcohol consumption is not permitted in the spa area.

3.4 Liability Disclaimer

  • Scorlinch Farm accepts no responsibility for injury, illness, or loss caused by improper use of the facilities.
  • You are responsible for your own safety and that of your group.

3.5 Cleaning & Damages

  • Please leave the Milking Parlour and its facilities clean and tidy after use.
  • You may be charged for damage, excess cleaning, or misused equipment.

4. General Disclaimers

  • Scorlinch Farm is a working farm; please exercise caution and follow all signage.
  • We reserve the right to deny access or terminate bookings without refund for breach of these terms or inappropriate behavior.
